Division 1 - 2006/07 Season

This season saw the closest finish since season 2001-02 when Frenford 1 and Mossford 1 tied on points, with Frenford 1 taking the title on games won.
 
This season, Frenford 1 & 2 scored the same number of points and also the same number of wins. By virtue of games drawn, Frenford 1 are this year's champions. The title was not decided until the last week of the season.
 
We say au revoir to the 2 sides promoted last year, Woodford Wells 2 and Maylands, and thank them for their efforts and sportsmanship.
 
Mossford 1 took the Open Cup for the 3rd time in 4 years.
 
I hope you will all attend the League A G M which will be announced in the not too distant future.
 
Have a good summer, and I look forward to reporting again next season.

PS. Perhaps next year all teams will remember to post their cards straight after their matches and avoid the fines which have accumulated this year. I will circulate the player's averages when I have received the final outstanding scorecard from Heathcote 1!!!!!!!
